• 2005 - September 28 – October 8: 8th World Wilderness Congress, Anchorage, AK. www.8wwc.org. 1100 delegates from 55 nations, representing government agencies and major conservation organizations convene after two years of collaborative work and planning to announce new wilderness areas, new organizations established and new models of wildlands management, new policy recommendations, and, for the first time, a new International League of Conservation Photographers offering visual inspiration and action plans through photography.

A Success Story in Madagascar, Multi-media digital image presentation – the ten year story of discovery of a new species of lemur and the educational, economic and conservation benefits resulting from that accidental find. Photographic documentation supported by the National Geographic Society and the Margot Marsh Foundation.
